How people let their brakes get this bad is beyond me

My dumbass MIL asked me to look under her car because she thought she hit something and it was stuck there. I asked her what it sounded like and she described it as a dull thunder, but it only happened when she was stopping.

Might be time to learn how to change them yourself. Brakes are easier to change than people realize.

If it won't be a DIY job, I'd suggest K&M Automotive on Seigen.

1A Auto.com

Best prices, free shipping, best YouTube videos. They are great and if you have questions just give them a call. Great people to work with.

Bought drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads for all 4 rims for a 2500 Duramax for $260 delivered. That’s

How old is the car? I just tried doing my brakes and rotors at 110k miles in a 10 year old vehicle. The caliper bolt was rusted shut and I couldn’t get the rotor off. I had to bring the rotors and pads to a brake shop and pay someone changeout everything.

Also check the tie rods if you’re going to a shop. Had my 05 Yukon and 08 Sierra go through a set of tires with bad tie rods at 150k and 110k miles.

2007-2014 Tahoe

I get we can get busy with life and all but save your money and do it yourself. This guy has a good video on how to change the brake pad and rotors on a 07-14 Tahoe.

Find a place that will let you buy your own parts. The markup on brake pads and rotors, like all parts, is fing insane.

What kind of car? I can tell you what brake pads and rotors will cost you at NAPA.

Front/Back breaks? Both?

Jason was a damn good pitcher in high school. He had the best move to 2nd base of anyone I ever played with.

He is a good choice.
