It's saturday and I've got trouble with a 4 day old Pygmy goat. Does anyone know of a veterinarian I can see today? These little baby goats can't wait until Monday. Thanks for any help.

It's a shame a public University charges such exorbitant rates. Mississippi State Vet is the same way

Are these those goats that freeze up when they are scared? Those are my favorite goats.

Maybe one day UNICEF will get into the veterinary business, but for now I've got a business to run.

Excellent care given there, no question. The school was even able to add a brand new wing with the revenue they got from us after we took our two elderly dogs there for specialized care about ten years ago.

Sherwood Animal is great. We used them for our last dog after Jefferson Animal changed ownership.

Baby Pygmy goats seems a bit sluggish. Being bottle fed. Mother has never nursed kid. Just noticed the sluggishness today. Also has redness around the eyes and little "bulges" on upper lids. Body temp is 104.6. I show that normal is 102.5-103.5 but I don't know if that's correct. Thank you. If you notice something a bit off on theses kids you have to jump on it right away-they are so small and can go down very fast. Thanks.

Sherwood emergency clinic. LSU is on half-assed operations with Covid and likely won’t do an emergency call out or see you without a referral.
It might be worth a call, but I wouldn’t bank on them being any help on a weekend or after hours.
