You can start off by seeing the flame at Dow. Go check out the hotel in Donaldsonville that has "Color TVs". Cross the sunshine bridge and go look at Motiva, BASF.

Seriously, when you get into Plaquemine, about a quarter mile from Dow, go Deja vu, its a drive thru daiquiri place. You can go check out the down town water park in Plaquemine.

LINK

Check out the historic church across the street.

As you get into South Plaquemine there will be a strip club on the right. I don't even think the name is out on the sign anymore. As you go through your trip down Hwy 1, make sure you don't spend all of your quarters because on your way back you can stop at this strip club and if you want the stripper (the one time I went in there, there was one stipper) to dance you have to feed the jukebox.

Further into South Plaquemine you will see a truck stop, across the street is a Mexican restaurant. There is illegal gambling in the back, a few slot machines, a card table, etc. It recently got busted so it might not be open... Avoid the food.

As you get into Bayou Goula, you can enjoy the cane fields.. There is Nottoway Plantation, you can go eat there, but I think it all depends on the chef that day as to whether or not the food will be good. You can stop and get gas at the popigos in White Castle. If you are speeding and the police don't recognize you, you will get a ticket. I've got caught going 70 in a 45 and didn't get a ticket. If you do 47 in a 45 you will get a ticket.

You can look at the sugar mill in south White Castle. Nothing smells better than a sugar mill when its cranked up (it smells like shite, don't get excited).

The stretch between WC and Donaldsonville is lovely. I seen a bad arse wreck happen on that stretch one time.. Three cars. One car was trying to pass a truck, pretty much hit the car on the other side head on and that car hit the truck it was passing. A woman in the car hit head on died.. Crazy shite.

There is Donaldsonville. They have a hotel that has color tvs. They have a Wendy's next to Walmart.

If you take a right off the Sunshine bridge then take a left on River Road, about two miles down there is a place.. Looks like a gas station, it use to be one, but its a restaurant called "Hymel's". Food is legit.

There is other shite that might be of interest, but I can't really think of anything that would be,
