Woman comes in asks for a loaf of bread and a water while she's waiting for someone. She finishes the bread and then leaves with no other member of her party in sight. Pretty sure she just went in to eat free bread.

I'd say that if someone is in enough of a bind to stoop to eating bread and water for dinner, then I am ok with her eating for free.
