Outback used to be good 10 years or so ago. They've really gone downhill though. They concentrate in sheer numbers and not quality of food. Their servers are told that their steaks are the same quality and supplier as Flemings (same company) but there is no way that can be true, although I have to admit I've never eaten at Flemings but I've heard such great stuff about it and always hear such disappointing stuff about Outback. Carrabas is owned by the same company too and I enjoy most of their food and it seems like the price, quality, and service are all on point.

Yep.... Ever since they stopped making everything fresh for the day...
Outback was never open for lunch because the kitchen was prepairing everything for dinner. Everything was made fresh, from their crutons to thier bacon bits... When they stopped that it went to shite... Last time we ate there it was terrible.. Hadn't been back in years...
Met my wife at Outback when she was a server there in '02... The food was much better then...
