how about fleeing the scene after the intentional assault with a deadly weapon?

please show me where a guy has faced 37 years for this please. I have never said the guy didn't commit a crime I just have an issue for the trumped up charges when the guy didn't have life threatening injuries.

enough witnesses that he has been aggressive with cyclists before could be enough to prove intent, no?

I doubt it.

Excessive.

I'd probably donate to his defense fund if this was a real possibility.

They are just the maximums.

He'll hire David Raybin and won't see a day inside jail - Federal or State.

Not to hijack your thread, but do you always ride the Parkway? I may try it out this weekend (although this past weekend would have been perfect for it).

Any other good spots to ride? I've done Shelby Bottoms a couple of times, but it gets too congested and isn't long enough.

Why are they piling on charges? I know it happens all the time but come on most reasonable people would think this is excessive for the injuries sustained.

Bike rider didn't deserve to get hit, and the driver is an idiot and deserves his sentence but really, bicyclist who insist on riding in the flow of vehicle traffic are the ultimate douche bags.

I learned to not play in traffic at a very young age. Never been run over.
