It's ok to say you aren't sure and to even question or speculate on what might or might not have happened without forming a strong opinion one way or the other as to what actually happened. Admitting you don't know, when you in fact can't possibly know, is ok.

I just got a text from someone who said it is going to come out that the "noose" was that garage door rope that was seen in a couple of videos floating around the web.
I can't find a link to confirm yet but I am betting that is what it turns out to be. How embarrassed will NASCAR and everyone be if this whole thing turns out to be a broken garage door pull loop?
