Name some auto tech you actually love

I'm a little confused by this, being electric drivetrains have vastly more "low rpm" torque and are therefore vastly more responsive off the line. I would be curious to know what you've driven that gave you that experience.
You are 100% correct. BEVs have an advantage over even a high-strung, low reciprocation mass, normally aspirated ICE engine. The potential throttle response is much faster. I say potential because most cars (and all BEVs) are throttle by wire and most of them actually have some built in lag to them so the throttle is not too touchy. So any extra lag in a BEV is a result of programming not the platform. The most instantaneous throttle response vhicle I have ever owned was the E46 M3 in sport mode. It was ridiculous due to being a high-strung, low reciprocation mass, NA engine. In sport mode it was so touchy that on the manual cars it would produce what was called the bucking bronco effect by owners. The car would shift your weight so quickly that you couldn't hold the acceleration steady and it would result in the bucky while letting out the clutch. Even that car and cars like it are at a disadvantage when it come to throttle response potential of an electric drivetrain.
Tech I love: night vision. Particularly in neighborhoods and country roads at night, you can see people, pets, and wild animals way before you can see them in the headlight beams, especially since it is projected in a HUD. One thing I long for in the US is Euro ADB (adaptive driving beam) headlights, which prevent you from blinding oncoming drivers. I love a lot of tech, and some I am ambivalent about, but those are two I didn't see mentioned.

Adaptive cruise control; just let my truck drive itself , love it in stop and go traffic; I can sort of turn my brain off and the truck simply stays in its lane and inches along while I listen to a good podcast

Automatic transmission.
Wish I had one.

- Remote start – I live in a place with true 4 seasons a year. Winter and Summer this is a gamechanger.
- Adaptive cruise control – Long road trips with the family, this is amazing.
- Apple Play – I know this is going away in a lot of vehicles, but it’s a great OS, for lack of a better word.
Give me leather seats, 4WD/AWD capability, these things, and a naturally aspirated internal combustion engine and I’m good.
You basically described my car, but I wanna shoot whoever made that auto shut-off engine feature.
