In NoLa after Katrina there was a chicken company that have a few 100k rotting chicken in the warehouse. To say the smell was bad in the few weeks and months after would be an understatement. We had to where gas masks just to work. If u caught just the right wif of it you would instantly vomit. Worst smell of my life and it's not even close. I didn't eat chicken for a few months after.

Yessir. Rotting chicken in the garbage and shrimp or fish. That smell lingers and then sticks in your subconscious. I think chicken is the worst.

There is no smell quite as funky as carrion. There are plenty of instances where a dead body has been found in a car and afterward the car has to be junked because it's impossible to get rid of the odor.

If a smell makes you flush a brand new car, it's a pretty fricking tough smell.
