Brothers freezer in garage broke while on week vacation that had seafood, duck and deer meat in it. It was the most rancid smell I've ever encountered when he called me to help him dispose of the freezer.

In NoLa after Katrina there was a chicken company that have a few 100k rotting chicken in the warehouse. To say the smell was bad in the few weeks and months after would be an understatement. We had to where gas masks just to work. If u caught just the right wif of it you would instantly vomit. Worst smell of my life and it's not even close. I didn't eat chicken for a few months after.
