Name an abuse of modern conveniences

1) 15 items or less line at the grocery store-many folks do NOT have 15 items or less yet still get in line (either can't read or just DGAF)
2) Any fast food restaurant-just because you can drive by it and end up with burgers and fries, doesn't mean you should do it everyday fatties

The purpose of the convenience is to obtain the food. Without the food, the convenience doesn't exist. Therefore, you can't separate the food from the convenience of the drive-thru.
Maybe cooking would make you work a little more, or would take a little more thought to think about nutrients etc., but thats not "convenient" enough, thus sums of Americans decide to just forego that whole process and stick grease buckets down their throats.

Your argument is flawed, as I could go to Chick-fil-A and get a relatively healthy grilled chicken sandwich, fruit cup, and bottled water, but make a double-cheeseburger, fries, and milkshake at home. Does cooking that myself negate the calories?
Again, it's the abuse of the food, and not the convenience of the restaurant.
