Hopefully the new HVAC system we installed will knock that down.

Ha, good luck! Brand new windows, new AC, fresh insulation all thanks to Laura and I'm still hitting $332 on 1700sq ft

Brand new windows are fine and all but the energy savings are way oversold

I've replaced 17 windows with efficient versions, replaced my main AC unit with one that's supposedly energy efficient and added insulation. Bill is still $200 than previous averages.

ETA: Also replaced every light bulb with LED.

Tinting the windows on my house was a big deal.

Dropped my bill by over $30/mo

$339 for 2,500sqft in AP.
Plan of attack:
1. Insulate garage door
2. Insulate over garage as my builder did not.
3. Switch back to a smart thermostat. Had a Nest a while back. May try an Ecobee this time.
4. Add a few motion light switches.
5. Look into a humidifier. I am at around 55% humidity.
6. Cut ba k pool pump to half the current run time.
7. I may look into a small solar panel to recharge iPads and things to see if it makes any impact???!

Insane how dumbasses tore up this country for BLM nonsense and that drug addict Floyd but for insane gas/fuel/grocery/everything prices and obviously being ripped off, not a peep.

People just pay it and not attempt to hold Biden and his pathetic administration accountable. That bullshite is worth causing a scene for.

WIsh they'd break this down like they do the fuel charge per kwh

So I found this morning that if you login to my entergy, click dashboard, switch over from "what's new" to "My Entergy Dashboard, and click "Link to Bill Analyzer you can see some breakdown.

Mine shows an average of $0.111/kWh in May of 22 and $0.12/kWh in June of 22. That's the best I've got for you.

Look into adding borates to your pool. Has made a noticeable difference in my chlorine and pump usage.

So you want to add borates to your pool--Why and How

You'd definitely be much better off buying a couple window units if that's the best your unit can do.

We are renting and moving out at the end of July. Funny that I posted this, yesterday we got home to find the A/C not working.

Levelized billing went to 185. I’ll take that all year even though winters aren’t that bad

plan of attack is to lower thermostats at night, reduce pool pump time, lower hot tub to not always staying hot, turn of window a/c in 2nd garage.
