Where do you see this? AL.com article from a day ago:

An AL.com reporter, who asked at the Dadeville jail if anyone had been arrested in connection with the shooting, was told no.

I disagree. The public has the option to stack 50 7.62 rounds in their mag drum and that is not what people had in the past. 7.62 is the same stout round that the 240B shoots in the military.
Here is an ad from 1963 for the AR15. Please note the magazine featured in the ad…
Here’s another ad from the 60s for the M1 Carbine, which unlike the AR15, was actually issued to US troops as a “weapon of War”
Here is an ad for a fully automatic Thompson sub-machine gun from the 1920s…
Please note this ad from the 1920s features the Thompson’s drum magazine which, in case you’re wondering, has a capacity for 100 rounds. By the way, at the time this ad was published, you could purchase a fully automatic Thompson sub-machine gun via mail order catalog with no requirement past payment and a return address of where to send it. That was a century ago.
Do yourself a favor. If you do want to debate so-called “gun control”, at least take the time to educate yourself on firearms and firearm history. As things stand you’re doing is making a complete arse of yourself.
ETA: the last rifle the army used that was 7.62 was the M14. Here’s an ad to buy one from the 1970s

This thread is a great example of why the problem of mass shootings and gun violence will only get worse. Instead of looking for solutions to the problem, the discussion always devolves into arguing pointlessly over guns. I pray one day our society decides to tackle the problem. But I know it’s going to have to get a lot worse first.
I agree with this. A mass shooting happens and its the same shite. People argue about the same shite, then after 4 or 5 days everyone moves on until it happens again.
We always had guns in my house, I thought it was normal for people to have a gun in their house when I was a kid. The people who were getting shot were either in a bad area or someone playing with a gun (usually younger people).
Today you can get shot at school, at church, in the grocery store, at a birthday party, at a concert, a movie.. Pretty much anywhere there are groups of people. The odds are you will not, but the thought crosses your mind because it has happened and who is to say when head case is going to decide to do something or two different groups of people decide they are going to shoot at each other and because they don't know how to shoot for shite, they hit everything but their targets.

You would have thought that people would learn that weapons of war should stay at war. That was the Tommy gun that only criminals could afford am I correct?

Yeah well the 7.62 is still alive and well today in the crew serve- 240B.

Perhaps you should read my previous statements in this thread.
I'm actually waiting on a certain someone to explain what 'common sense' gun laws are.

I just viewed the local late news with the religious leaders of the area literally begging folks to come forward with any information to help the investigation. ALEA pleading for kids that were at the scene to volunteer any video they captured that night.

Between 40-50 according to people at the event. That building isn’t that big, not sure how 50 people fit in there.
Also, mom of birthday girl, who was shot twice, said investigators aren’t telling her much, but she says they told her that there is no one in custody……
Not sure who to believe at this point. The ALEA has not handled this very well regarding announcements or taking questions. Community down there could have a few murderers running around.
Also, the mom heard a rumor someone had a gun at the party and actually turned on the lights and made an announcement that anyone with a gun needed to leave and they didn’t want drama but to celebrate Alexis birthday.
And reminder, DJ said it was pitch black in there at the time of the shooting. So doubt there will be any video. I’m sure some people know things, but probably scared of retaliation if they talk

I see we’re still arguing about rifles in this thread despite the confirmation from law enforcement that no such weapons were used in the incident that this thread is about.

Facts aren't incredibly high up on the list of priorities with those people.

He did need to put the bottle down. Somehow he gathered in my post that if I had my own pistol I would have brought it to basic. That dude is just as retarded as you are.

Rarely, if ever, I’ve seen that. You need to sit this one out, kid.
Do you think armies still form big arse lines to clash as well?
