Becoming a tranny is the new catch-all identity for every social outcast in today's society. Before all this started, they would just put on some white makeup and wear all black until they grew out of the phase. Now they permanently mutilate themselves and use it as an excuse to try to bully everyone else until they inevitably kill themselves when they realize they can't reverse the permanent damage they did to themselves.

The 30 year old is not your problem and there's likely nothing you can do to help. Your wife is what I'd be worried about. Sounds like there may be something wrong with her if she can't see the obvious and gets upset that you do.

Becoming a trans person sadly becomes a way of bonding with people for many social outcasts. Those people are then surrounded by others who push them to take it further and then positively reinforce it. It’s a cycle that then continues and draws more susceptible people in. They get their own social group from this and it becomes their whole life. Much like drug addicts that band together or drug addict recovering people that band together. And when a bunch of people become friends with only one bad thing in common, that thing gets magnified as it’s all they can bond over

The 30 year old is an adult so he can dress or lives as he wants. I really don't get transphobia. Transitioning is still pretty rare. Some of you are acting like there's an explosion in this. It's just more visible due to social media and more people are more relaxed by it. Also there is nothing a parent does or doesn't do that causes this. Your kid seeing someone else who is trans will not cause them to become trans. There is absolutely no evidence that this is learned behavior it's just some genetic thing that happens to a very few number of people.
The evidence is that there are just more people who feel "free" to transition to various degrees now compared to years past.
