I don't really see from your story what they could have done since they arent abusive parents yet all their kids have mental health issues. 'Being there for them' can only go so far, especially when they weren't inclined to listen to you in the first place.

Many people, a higher number than you would think, are simply not built to fit into the demands of modern society, and would literally be happier and more fulfilled being, say, an afghani goat herder.

As long as it is not 100% it’s too low.

There is absolutely no evidence that this is learned behavior it's just some genetic thing that happens to a very few number of people.

So it’s a disorder that should perhaps be treated rather than celebrated?

I have an acquaintance, a nurse practitioner, who runs a 'nonjudgmental hormone clinic' in a northern state. He pulls in north of 500k a year.

How do you treat it? If it's a disorder some medical professionals will say if the person isn't hurting anyone else by doing this and is happier doing this then that is how you treat it. Some folks are happier transitioning and if they are happier then that's how you treat it.

I know a person who transitioned from male to female and I admit that she is one ugly broad but she's happier and she is in no way impacting my life or forcing children to be trans.

Telling someone to fight it or resist it or undergo treatment to not do it has worse consequences in some cases then just letting them live as they want. The high suicide rate is due to people being depressed and unhappy and some will say that if someone is happier trans and so on that's better than being more depressed.

Pretending nothing is amiss is not necessarily compassion. You don't have to be a dick to his face, but diiscussing it with her in private shouldn't be off limits.

Becoming a trans person sadly becomes a way of bonding with people for many social outcasts. Those people are then surrounded by others who push them to take it further and then positively reinforce it. It’s a cycle that then continues and draws more susceptible people in. They get their own social group from this and it becomes their whole life. Much like drug addicts that band together or drug addict recovering people that band together. And when a bunch of people become friends with only one bad thing in common, that thing gets magnified as it’s all they can bond over

You just described >50% of liberal leftists. The whole progressive ANTIFA BLM LBTQIXYZ is cultish for people wanting to believe they belong to something trendy.

Does being bipolar have more to do with it than how he was raised? People who are bipolar and don't have it under control can get out of hand.

I think it’s high no matter what the mental illness is present.

It’s obviously a combination of his raising, genetics, personal failings, and social circles.

I have no doubt. Magically calling yourself another gender does not fix deep seated mental issues.

He’s clearly failed at being a young man. Maybe he’s trying his hand at being a young lady and offering his buttpussy to the highest bidder.

Sounds like the only way is up from where you’re describing him at now.

I'm confused. This guy has just now started to be expressive about wearing make up at 30, and it's his parents fault?

Letting him be a loser since he was a teenager and not getting psychiatric help are definitely his parents’ fault.

I’m not sure how our society ever got to the place where celebrating mental disorders is preferential to seeking professional help, but here we are.
I can help you with that. Book Board. Seriously.
