Pickleball daily, swimming, hot tub, evening live music and dancing, quiet friendly neighborhood, and riding a golf cart everywhere. What a place, I highly recommend it as a 55+ community. Now we are looking to sell and relocate.

How many upside-down pineapples did you see??

55 year olds can get in now LOL
Thats just amazing to me. At 55 you should still be working and helping with grandchildren.

Did they have up the "no fingering in the pool" signs?

I know people at work who've done something similar, it doesn't appeal to me, yet, but it frees up time for them to do things like that, and travel, eliminates just about all house and lawn maintenance

yes, unless it's to break up a dog fight

Don't know about upside down pineapples but the evening dancing was a sight to behold. I could of sworn I saw Janis Joplin dancing and some very strange dance moves by 80 yo

It makes sense for most people I suppose.

I'm 50 and I "should" be doing that, but I enjoy my life as it is way too much.
I just woke up from a nap and I'm going to smoke some high test and work in my woodshop.

Thats most folks. Then everyone wonders certain things about society later on.
Makes me chuckle at 39.

When in I lived in AZ we visited a friend that lived in one of these deals, like a resort.
Gotta be honest, it looked pretty fun.
Not enough garage space though

Hot, humid shitty central Florida. Meh.

Highest concentration of STDs in the entire country.

Beware.. it's a cult. If having a bunch of old people nosing into your business sounds appealing, be my guest. Ridiculous deed restrictions and expenses with old people "citizen police" and mega drama. No thanks! Hang out there for a while and you will know what I mean. NIMBYs everywhere with houses essentially without back yards

I could see doing something like that down the road, as much as we like to travel

a friend of mine solved this by building a barndeminium, he likes the minimizing of house/lawn maintenance but can't give up all of his toys

What kind of golf cart was it? The wife and I are moving to a golf course community in a few days and I’m looking to buy a cart. Don’t know what’s good and what isn’t.
