9,000 abortions a year in America ar for rape. If you want you can just tell those 9,000 girls to frick off, but to others we would like to maybe iron out the details even for the small percentage of cases

Poster: How do you know OP's isn't the normal circumstance?

Me: Because the research shows that conclusively.

You: "YOU WANT TO TELL RAPE VICTIMS TO frick OFF HUH"

I'll deal with the adults, thanks

We lost a child around week 12.

They biopsied some tissue to see what happened. It was a partial mole pregnancy (1 in 100K) and the baby, if born, would have been a boy with downs.

First off, I am sorry you had to go through this. Terrible.

The following is my opinion, and I am not trying to judge or condemn you by any means.

I still would have had the child. You don't know what or how it he or she would have turned out. The Lord has done miracles in far worse situations. To me, what you view as mercy is murder.

As a father of an infant and another on the way, there is no way I'd ever terminate the pregnancy regardless. If the child has medical issues, we will deal and bring it to the Lord. Just how it is.

Sick irony is the same states with the most restrictive abortion laws are often the same states that allow, or even mandate, abstinence-only sex education and other non-comprehensive birth control education.

I am not clear on above with mandate if you mean states only allow abstinence based sex education or just make sure it’s included or just allow it?

What’s wrong with allowing or even mandating abstinence to be included in reproduction or sex education?

Which states only allow abstinence based sex education? And what forms of birth control do they leave out - abortion or something else?

I may have misheard the new reports, I don’t believe there is a push for a „National 15 week ban“. It’s up to the State Legislatures to decide. Did I misunderstand?

You’re right it’s Not true. That’s just media hype. Now several states will pass more restrictive laws and a few will pass less restrictive laws in response.

There is no goalposts to move. The fact is not every aboirtion is out of convenience. 1,000s come from rape

1000s more come from incest

To me, the issue isn’t as simple as saying “people who support abortion just want to murder babies”

It’s a gross oversimplification of abortion. There are normal people that think abortions out of convenience are morally wrong, but the laws they would support need wiggle room for the cases states above

And I fully stand by RvW being overturned

So you believe in forcing women to come to term in some instances?

Well that because it.. like… works.

People being to impatient to keep their pecker in their pants because it’s the smart thing to do doesn’t mean it doesn’t work.

Responding with “well what percentage is it?” or “let’s talk about the majority” is casting it aside

Those issues have to be addressed. They can’t just be “oh well, small number”
