Also...
Every one in this thread should have a gps tracking device. I just put one in my bicycle.
I have them on each of my vehicles.
Not hard to put on and hide.
Easy to ping and use.

It will smell like ecstasy farts, grape swishers/weed and probably cocoa butter.

I rented a uhaul in Round Rock recently. The guy says "no one is at the office but all the vehicles are unlocked with their keys in it. Grab whichever 24' you want and put the paperwork in the mailbox. "

I was telling my friend in New Orleans everyone of these box trucks would be in the East.

I will seriously be shocked if the NOPD actually attempts to track and arrest the perps.

No one was killed, NOPD don't care.

Probably just a thong on the rear view mirror.

I have a very similar recent experience with U-Haul. I am bringing some stuff to my in-laws in New Albany, MS in a week and I need to drop off the uhaul truck at the local uhaul spot. I asked him if he was open for returns on Sundays and he emailed me back that he’ll be “at church or fishing” and just leave the truck parked with the keys in the glove compartment with the paperwork.

Unreal. That’s how life should be.

This is one of those extra Nola taxes people pay to have that precious Nola address. Lakeview is one of the nicer neighborhoods in the city and you still can’t expect to not have your car stolen and you still can’t expect the cops to have the capacity to investigate it.

I hope they find your truck and catch the perps, but I'm afraid leaving keys in your vehicle is tantamount to donating it to perps.

Yeah, but it a black guy is pushing a trashcan down the street, they send 3-4 cars out to look for him.
