IMO, the most underrated pure traditional female country voice in the history of the industry. I love her voice.
And she wasn't bad looking either in her prime.

I’d have never heard of the song if the communists hadn’t had a conniption about it
To be fair, CMT manufacturing controversy probably had more to do with y’all going Gaga for Morgan wallen than it did with liberals actually being mad.
In short, they played you

I have a question. Why is the Left up in arms about this song yet rappers produce thousands of songs that glorify murder, rape, robbery, misogyny and just about every other imaginable sin and not a word is said?
Can someone help me with that?

Sure. They’re largely stupid and/or disingenuous miserable fricks but are afraid to direct any anger toward anything minority. Publicly anyway.

These days, we have a bunch of pampered, millionaire, city boys cosplaying as small-town, blue-collar workers telling the masses to lick the boot that holds them down instead of fighting the man.
How devoid of any knowledge of history and absent of critical thinking skills must one be to conclude that the far-left progressive movement is the movement of blue-collar rural citizens?

Aldean sucked before this song.

So much fuss over just a mediocre song.
Country music as a whole is just awful these days.

One of my favorite Carter Family songs doesn't feature A.P. The song was deemed risqué for discouraging marriage, a raucous suggestion in those days. The two girls performing it were afraid of recording and releasing it, fearing blowback.
If you can get your hands on the box set "In the Shadow of Clinch Mountain" do it. It is distributed by Bear Family Records, and they are proud of it. I have a burned copy of it. Their set is 12 CDs, a hardcover book, and a DVD. It pretty much covers their entire known catalog in chronological order. At one time it was on Amazon Music, but not anymore.

Just stop it. I’m just as country as you and no one is shooting protesters or dragging them by chains. You’re not as tough as you think you are ma’am.

Dre was never a gangster nor was he ever in any Gang. WTF are are you talking about, and how does this even relate? Are you saying Dre should be in prison?
What does any of what you said have to do with Aldean’s song? I bet it hurt your feelings, and you are one of the few that see a problem with it. I don’t necessarily “like” aldean or that song, but I’ll fricking listen to it now just because people are trying to cancel it.
I only like 3 of his songs “Flyover States”, “Amarillo Sky” and “Dirt Road Anthem”

He ran like a bitch off that las vegas stage. Did he use his mic to tell the crowd to get down?

Originally, country music was liberal AF, singing songs about smoking dope, sticking it to the man, and going to jail
Country music didn't start in the 1960s and 70s

Grew up in the hood and hung out with gangsters but wouldn't call him a gangster
Also the populist wing of the Republican party - Trump, Desantis, and Vivek all have lot of populism in their platform is way more like the 60's and 70s version of liberals than today's democrats
And "the man" today is the so called "liberal" party
