My wife's nephew was in this situation, he made sure his kid was always taken care of, spent all the time he could with the kid, and 22 years later says it was the best thing to ever happen to him.

Shocking how people denigrate having kids now.

And you don't have to be Romeo and Juliet to do it. You don't love her? Maybe watch her push your kid out and see how you feel about her afterwards.

Good God it must suck having stepchildren. I cant imagine having to pretend I give a frick about some dingbat just so I can keep fricking his mom.

Savage but probably more accurate than a lot of stepdads would admit.

Kinda
The service member doesn’t pay for his care, his dependents are eligible for TriCare.

He is considering maybe joining the Navy once he graduates. I think he's really looking for a way to not have to pay child support

At least tell him to become an Officer so he’ll have more money. The twins will be born before he joins, the girl will more than likely seek child support. A judgment will show up on the the background check. There’s no way around it and his pay will be garnished if he gets in.

That's the fricking you get for the fricking you got. Man up and deal with it if they're his.

He needs to step up and meet his obligations and responsibilities. Even though it wasn’t planned, it’s the hand he is dealt. If he has a heart and soul, he will be thankful he has them in his life. If not then the society will pay the price because they will probably grow up and be a net negative for their community.

Dude, man up and teach your son to be a FATHER and not a sperm donor. It’s called being responsible and accountable for your actions, even if it was a Fk up. Imagine a young kid growing up only to learn his dad was a dead-beat and chose not to be a part of his/her life. That’s just one of the current problems with today’s society
