My step daughter has been stuck on a Cruise

My step daughter, her husband, and their 4 year old sailed out of Galveston on the 17th. Been stuck at sea since. They have a car by the port.
They have been hanging out around the mouth of the Mississippi and are docking at N.O. now to restock and refuel. They are gonna be one the boat till Saturday.
That's one hell of an extended cruise.
Step daughter doesn't work. They live on an Air Force base. Husband has been on leave. So they ain't missed work or anything.

I wondered about the ones stuck on a cruise earlier in the week. I'd get off the boat and rent a car to drive if I were in that position.
I've also wondered about the cruisers' vehicles and what the hell they're going to do when they are allowed back in Galveston. It sounds like an epic clusterfrick.
The step granddaughter is cute. I hope she's been comforted during this ordeal.

Couldn't imagine my alcohol bill after that long on a cruise ship. I'd probably have to work for the cruise line to work it off

Hopefully they get back soon. I was supposed to go on a cruise out of Galveston tomorrow with a group of 8 (not my choice). In am glad they cancelled it and I will get a full refund.
