I will say his style of singing is in right now, I don’t get it, but it’s very popular. Where it kind of sounds like someone intentionally pronouncing their r’s like a 3 year old. Really not trying to knock him, I have noticed it on the radio a lot. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this too. It’s not bad, just not my style. I think the song ain’t bad, especially for an amateur.

I’m being serious...it sounds like a love song from the style and lyrics. NTTAWWT.
It’s heartfelt

His singing and piano are pretty good. That beat that comes in after the song starts is off tempo bad. It doesn't match the piano tempo at all. If he eliminated that it would be much better. All around nice job though. Not my cup of tea but that type of music is in with the younger crowd.

It sounds like 7 Years without any of the good parts.

Congrats. Now you have this to look forward to.

My first feedback would be to not take feedback from the OT
If you’re serious about him going somewhere with music, get him some singing lessons, have him write a few more songs and drop a demo on social media. Stuff spreads like wildfire these days.

It's not horrible...I am sure with a producer it could be improved a lot.
Seemed like he was trying to pass himself off as British? Parchment? Mate?

He has potential. Harmonize the vocals, put a happier part in. And he uses strange words like "parchment" which isn't used in normal conversation.
This is what he needs to get to. This is my band:
Digging
Listen to this singer. He's monotone feeling but he makes subtle changes to make it work. This is my 2nd band:
Chainsaw Dreams

Kudos to him for being able to actually play and instrument and put himself out there. He’ll get better with age. I wouldn’t take the criticism of anyone on a sports message board too seriously. Most of them probably only play the skin flute.

When layering vocals, he needs to change the pitch of one part. Sing one part higher than the other.
I agree 100% with this! Other than that it was pretty good for a young singer and I have heard way worse from "artist" who have made it..

I liked the kid's song better than both of those. And lol to "strange words like parchment." Are lyrics supposed to be conversational?

Song is slow and boring.
Your first single has to be fast paced to catch the bitch's attention.

nah, if you're in a band. or play a musical instrument, that's good enough to make the draws drop

My feedback is:
DON'T EVER look to the OT for anything positive, especially regarding children, spouse, partner, friendship, nothing! You'll wind up thinking your kids are meth-heads, spouse is a cheating whore, your girlfriend likes DP and your friends are all USA hating race baiting millenials!
