My neighborhood has completely changed

Like many others I am out of work until this COVID 19 hysteria passes. I have been home for two weeks. I have spent most of my days outside doing yard work and working in the garage. But now my neighborhood looks different. Every hour or so there is someone walking down the street, going for a run, kids riding bikes, entire families going for a walk with the dad throwing a football to the kids, and kids dribbling basketballs. I started taking the family for walks too. People are outside playing in their yards, sitting in lawn chairs in their driveways, people are barbecuing. It is a flashback to the 1980’s and early 1990’s of what it was like growing up for me. Fun times. It’s a shame this will not last once things get back to the way it was before COVID 19.
