Not sure this is the right board but I just wanted to announce that my oldest boy just graduated Boot Camp and is now a US Marine. Needless to say I’m a very proud dad…

I hope he’s part of the future that allows for the bravest to do what they do best. Be brave. The other bullshite needs to go away. I have faith we can eliminate that one day.

Many years from when he’s an old fart like me, wondering how your going to survive and then thriving in Marine Corps boot camp will be among his fondest memories.

You should be proud! Even though the military has taken a step back with generals like Milley leading. The commander and Chief is a joke too. But the foot soldiers are the best of the best.
