Do you want to spend a little money and make it a nice trip or just stroll around and eat tourist food and drink Hand Grenades?

Best to just drop her off and pick her back up when New Orleans is finished with her.
Oh and wrap that rascal from now on.
Your welcome

If she's never really been there, she's going to want to go see the cesspool on and around Bourbon. Go before it gets dark and all of the real idiots come out. After that, get out of there and find something good and local to eat. Burt Reynolds on page 1 had a good recommendation.

My girl and I stayed at Hotel Monteleone last time there, probably 10 years ago. Most of you Louisiana/NOLA folks know this but it has a cool bar that rotates slowly like carousel. The rooftop pool and bar is nice also.
We went in June so it was hot AF. We did an airboat ride in the swamps and fed marshmallows and chicken to a gator named Hercules. Hit the French Quarter of course. I can only take that for a limited amount of time. I’m usually done with New Orleans in about 2-3 days.

My second wife and I had our honeymoon in NO. She loved every second of it! We did do the FQ, but got out of there by 9 PM. She has passed on and I don’t think I’ll ever return.
But if your girl wants to go, take her!

Sure…there is nothing like New Orleans. Back in my LSU days I thought it was mandatory to black and end up puking all over myself every trip there.
It’s actually a very cool city and very enjoyable when you act like a responsible adult, too. I actually like the quarter in the morning, because you see all of the delivery trucks and cleanup personnel. Basically the inner workings of the quarter!
I once was out at about 7 AM in the quarter and watched a garbage truck roll down the street and the guys stopped at every business where they were handed an absolute wad of cash. I’m talking about rolls of cash 3”-4” in diameter!
This is the kind of shite you see in the morning.

Probably the worst time of the year to be asking this. If she doesn’t want to come at Mardi Gras, get a room at the Roosevelt during December when it’s decorated for Christmas.

Too many of yall are pussies. You’ll be fine as long as you’re not a retard. Go get some Oysters from someplace good.

That is an excellent suggestion….some of those places are beautiful at Christmas time. I once stayed at a place on Poydras (I think) that was fantastic at Christmas.

Lafitte’s bar. In sort of the residential area so not as much BS once you get there.
Google about it for some history.
