Did you get that from an Asian family?

I heard she lifted several of those.

There you go, something I would have tossed in the garbage, you found value in. I stand corrected.

When I said they were 98¢ each, I’m talking about the two on the blue cards. They are 98¢ each at Walmart, if you can find them. Treasure Hunts are the chase cars of the HW world. There’s less than one per case (usually about one every four cases). Some can fetch big money. Look up the complete set from 1997 (the year they started Treasure Hunts). These two are less desirable and only fetch $5-$10 each. I paid $1 each for them.
The 50th anniversary cars were probably $5 each at Walmart (if they were sold there). I paid $4 each and they sell for $5-$10 each.
I use to collect toys (especially Hot Wheels), and I know HW collectors are crazy.

Do you go to the “hosted” estate sales in BR? Or, are things priced too high at those?

The things they know about are priced accordingly, but they don’t know everything or can look up everything. There’s always hidden gems at estate sales.

question: do u ever buy storage sheds n such on ur escapades?

if so, can we see them and ur inventorying methods?

thx

I have never done the storage unit stuff. It does not interest me. There’s no hunt. it’s gambling. Plus I’ve heard that the owners of the storage units will go through it and tell their friends whether to come bid on it or not
i was really more asking about where/what do you do with all the stuff you buy, and do you ever buy storage sheds on ur adventures in order to house all the stuff u buy?

i know of a guy who does similar to what u do and he has a labyrinth of storage sheds to house it all.
