I have been social distancing, like others else, for damn near 2.5 weeks if not longer. So have my buddy and his roommate.

Today, I call my buddy after work to see if he wants to hang out, have a drink, handjob, etc. He says yeah come on over. Unbeknownst to us, his roommate is "practicing" hardcore social distancing (only going to the grocery store - risky much?). Roommate makes an off hand joke that this is super serial and he is committed to distancing.

I believe when you add two people who are social distancing to one space and continue to keep space, there isn't a significant risk added. Yeah there's a *chance* one person going to the grocery store may be exposed, but that can't be avoided.

After being at their house for 3 hours, staying to myself, and only having a couple whiskey drinks, my friends roommate (a solid acquaintance of mine) works up the courage to ask me to leave because he "isn't comfortable with you (aka me) being there."

Was I wrong being there and giving all of us a social reprieve of the situation? All three of us are abiding by state recommendations. None of use live near parents/grandparents or will have expected contact with an old person. I don't understand what made him so up tight about this.

I think the point is you don't have to. If you acquire and give it to someone else you increase the chances of that person spreading it to an old person.

That being said I don't think 3 people hanging out is a serious issue

You were more at risk driving after a few whiskey drinks than staying

As long as you are willing to pay 1/3 of the rent, I don’t see why he would care if you wanted to stay

The roommate can't get the Wu Flu unless he sniffs your hand afterwards. He's overreacting.

He seems weird

I mean if you came over a bunch, or you were dirty and irresponsible, probably reasonable.

But assuming you're the same as your buddy and his roommate in most ways, it seems a little strange unless he's got some preexisting condition or something such that he's being particularly cautious. Especially after you'd already been there a while - at that point who really cares?

I guess handjobs are gay folk’s version of fingerbanging.

God bless y’all.

Dude, just let your ex "friend" be happy with his new boy toy. He has moved on from you.
