.it would make a splash in the card collecting community. Like, a LOT of splash. People would have been talking about it as soon as it went down.
To the point that it would have influenced the market. These may just be basketball cards but this would be like having some bitcoin sitting around that you paid a few bucks for

I don’t know exactly what the deal was and if thats all he sold. His wife told mine that he got 2.2. million for the Jordans. But I know he got the cards and the amount of jewelry he got was staggering. He sold most of the jewelry years ago and they bought condos to rent. The guy doesn’t even have his own truck because he’s said they are terrible investments.

For someone you described as being very frugal and paranoid he apparently tells you an awful lot about his personal business.
If this story happened like you say I wouldn’t have told anyone I made that much money selling basketball cards or anything else.

Did you fail math? I think you're bad at math.

The guy with the cards played football for LSU and has something to do with the gun business. He is supposed to have a gun collection worth a fortune and he does something for the gun manufacturers or maybe Lipsy.

My friend became a multi millionaire today.
He will become so annoying by this time next year ya'll we not be friends.
One of my buddies from childhood hit it big in Oil, now you can't stand to be near him.
Every word out of his mouth is money money money, if you are around him he will tell you what everything cost and of course everything you have he has one better. Everything you buy he could have gotten you a better deal.

If he owned the cards, then he was already a multi-millionaire. He just didn't have it in cash.

Doesn't trust banks but buries their currency, because that can't be part of the problem.

I don't know that guy well but I do know his friend who was also a deputy sheriff and used to own the lawnmower place on Airline and Pecue. He made a ton of money owning environmental labs.
I’d be pretty aggravated at you for making this post about my new cashed out money and sharing the details and my FB group for the world to see. That’s his business to share, not yours.
You’re obviously not that good of friends with him.
