Call every single time to cancel and you'll get is for $7 a month for the next year. I've done it for a decade.

I think it’s about 7 or 8 bucks a month.
That's how much Netflix is. Sirius shouldn't be charging more than half of that.

Douche, I haven’t listened since
I don't mind the 80s DJs, although Nina Blackwood is a chore to listen to sometimes as she struggles to get words out of her smoke-destroyed lungs. But for whatever reason, I absolutely loathe Meg Griffin on the Beatles channel. I don't really catch her on other channels, but I listed to the Beatles one (18) a lot, and she is on every afternoon. And her voice and the way she talks just bugs me to my core.

Last time I did the “call to cancel” routine, i locked into a cheap flat rate billed annually and renews at the same rate. IIRC it’s about $7/month and renews every December.

Chatted them down to around $6/month if I paid for a year.

I play this game with them every year. I call them and tell them Im not reupping for 20 and that I want my current rate. They come back with some bullshite offer and I tell them no. Within a week or 2 I get the $4/mth offer in the mail and reinstate.
As others have said, if you are paying $7 you are still paying too much.

Spotify and don’t look back.
$20/month for premium and it's worth every penny. My family gets 6 accounts with unlimited downloads(no need for cell service), zero commercials, and 15 hrs a month each account for the premium audio books.
I Don't know why anyone pays for any other music/news/podcast service

Wait until they offer the $4/month deal. They will eventually, if you don't respond to them. They offered it to me a couple of days ago.
I had Xm and listened to it for a few years. I let it go because they kept going up in cost, then recently got the free trial after I had my car serviced at the dealership.Surprisingly, I never even once turned Xm on in the car during the 90 day period, as I listen to Spotify pretty exclusively now.
So, even at recently offered $4 rate, I decided not to renew.
It's an interesting business model all these subscription services have. Get you in at a reasonable rate, start elevating that rate until you quit, then re negotiate at an incredibly low rate if you bother to challenge them.

If you actually let it cancel, you’ll receive an email in a week or so for $3 -$4 a month.
That’s what I did and I think the offer I took a few weeks later was about $4 or $5 for 12 months.

Yeah if you pay a penny over $8 you walk

Don’t pay over 8 dollars. I’ve been with them a long time. Every year they increase me to 24.00+ I call and cancel, they come back with a 5 to 7 dollar price.

I call every time my promo period ends. Had XM so long I don't think I could deal with only having FM options

Switched to Spotify years ago and never looked back

Currently have the 3 free month promo from a dealership service call. Just got the offer for $4/month for 12 months. I'm tempted.
I pretty much have everything I need between Apple Music, MLB.tv app, iHeart app, and Tune-In app.
The only thing I listen to on XM-Sirius is the College Sports channel and a couple of others, but could live without it too.
