Non-gender bathrooms are pretty common in NYC. I've been to many restaurants and bars that have them.

As a father, I would not want my two young girls to walk in on a man in a non-gender restroom shaking and drip drying his penis.
There are some things that should be off limits and this is one of them. The majority of sane and rational people are spineless and allow this type of fricked up kind of action to take place.

Where? Do you mean just single use for anyone, or bathrooms that are meant to simultaneously accommodate many persons of any gender?

I always lock the door, any bathroom with only one toilet ever since I was washing my hands at an Indian restaurant and some cab driver came in and plopped his arse on the toilet, in a bathroom that was just a toilet and a sink.

that's the problem.
I could care less about who is in the bathroom while i pee. A non gender restroom works for everyone but girls age about 6 to 20

There are plenty of folks that don't want this. All ages and demographics. Actually wanting to have women and men pee together is weird to me. I'm not understanding this new desire at all.
