My first estate sale finds thread of the year - George Rodrigue and Bob Pettit

I have not been to a garage or estate sale since mid-December.
I spent $48, got a few small gems, nothing super expensive
$4 - a plastic Eagle liquor pour spout
$5 - Vintage Arky beer mug
$5 - Walkman headphones, new in package
$10 - Bob Pettit mini bobble head
(Just sold it for $35 shipped)
$4 - Andy Warhol collection rug - salesman sample
$5 each - 1984 Krewe of Rodrigue doubloons. These are the heavy metals ones, not cheap aluminum

A bunch of people sold me some rare items because I bought stuff from them before and they felt I deserved it. It was nice to get some items that were rare because I shopped with them before.

Nice stuff. Be careful about the GR stuff though. It is amazing but there is a spirit on them that I swear when I bought mine that you will understand very soon. I have some under my bed now. I was creating a whole room with them. I had to take them down.

This is funny. I’m the furthest from the coolest guy. I’m a dorky old man that likes to hit garage sales.
As for the Harlem thing, I was planning a lay over in NYC from Italy. I found several AirBnBs, one was in Harlem. I asked on the Travel Board, they said don’t get that one.
Holy shite, what a story!!! Hemingway ain’t got shite on me. Maybe I’ll get a Pulitzer for this.
