My daughter wanted to play basketball this past season, but I wasn't a fan of it

She's about to turn 9. The area where we live doesn't have a girls league, so she would be playing with boys. Even if there was a girls league I would steer her away from that. I feel there's too many lezzies still in the closet that could influence her views.
