A friend of mine ordered from one of those food delivery services and they just left the food on his doorstep without even knocking or notifying him, so his meal was sitting out in the cold for 20+ minutes

That alone was enough for me not to use any of these services, now this

I'm too cheap to pay the premium unless it's a large group order at work. $15 meal +$5 delivery fee + tip? Nah, I'm good. I'm not paying a 50+% premium to not have to go pick it up myself.
