I have only the highest praise for his owner for sticking faithfully by his little buddy's side in his hardest hour. Some things don't have a price tag!

Saw a bald eagle in Port Allen this weekend

Yeap, if you pass on the interstate between Port Allen and Grosse Tete its not uncommon to see one. They have them on "the point" in Plaquemine... On the other side of the levee around Dow and certain areas along the intracoastal you can see them.

An eagle tried to fly off with me when I was a babe. I straight ended that with right hook. I never saw him again.

Might as well go the distance and take one of those cataracts out. Damn vets get quadruple what I make for human cataract surgery though.

I was at my neighbors for a BBQ and a hawk swooped down and took off with their 3 lb yorkie mix. Their daughter screamed bloody murder but I had lots of trouble not laughing- one of the most amazing things I've ever seen

When a hawk swoops down on a defenseless dog with intent to commit murder, I shoot the bastard. That's my policy.

We had a blind poodle growing up. We used to get stoned and rearrange the furniture and watch her bounce around.

Her name was Pinball.

My worst nightmare. My backyard backs up to the Addicks Resevoir and I hear coyotes and owls back there all he time. I never let my pup in my backyard without being out there with her.

A red tailed hawk attacked my head about 20 years ago. For real. I was riding my mountain bike in some woods near my house by myself and felt something hit me in the head that felt like a softball and it knocked my toboggan off my head. I stopped and rubbed my head while looking around in a state of paranoia. I was by myself and was thinking somebody had thrown a rock at my head. Damn near knocked me off my bike. I sat their for a minute when out of the corner of my eye I saw something coming down at my head. I looked real quick and saw a big arse hawk and dropped down while covering my head before it could hit me. It just flew a few feet over and took off over the tree line.

Not sure if that SOB was half blind and thought my head was a rabbit or something or maybe it had babies nearby but that shite freaked me out. My head was on a swivel until I got back to my truck. I was lucky it didn't get its talons into my head and just got some of the toboggan.
