To Mingo, Efrad and the other criminal law professors on the board who think that when a person is accused of committing a felony that the police can just let it go. Well guess what, Agg Assault with a Firearm in Louisiana is a felony, and a police officer is obligated to make an arrest if there is probable cause. Well buddy you are partially right. That was the law but it was amended during the last couple of years and did away woth the discharge portion.
