No it's because I know he's not going to slice me up with an axe. You can demand respect without looking like a total idiot.

Your parents probably didn't threaten to sue him or have him arrested either.

My self, at that age my daughter had a date on New Years eve at my house. The young man dating my daughter, I did take the time with him for a walk down the road. Flat out told him if he frick up with my daughter, I would plant his arse were no man ever walked before.
Big difference between giving a general statement to a kid that if he fricks up with your daughter you'll come after him, versus telling a kid that if he engages in consensual activity with your daughter he'll have to pay consequences and flashing a firearm at the kid

To Mingo, Efrad and the other criminal law professors on the board who think that when a person is accused of committing a felony that the police can just let it go. Well guess what, Agg Assault with a Firearm in Louisiana is a felony, and a police officer is obligated to make an arrest if there is probable cause. So for you retards that think cops wouldn't do anything just shows how much you lack knowledge of the law.

It takes a huge pussy to threaten a 16 year old with a weapon

You call me a retard, but it's very obvious you didn't read my posts.

Didnt tell them, and if I did they probably would have approved.
Getting past the dad used to be serious business in dating.
Its good they care.

Funny thing about dads being douchebags to their daughter’s boyfriend. Now instead of them hanging out at her house under dads supervision, the boyfriend will say I don’t want to go to your house because your dad is an a-hole and then she will lie about where she’s going so that she can go to that dudes house and get plowed.

Most of those stories are made up by dads that think it makes them look like a hard arse
Raise your daughter to make good decisions and you won't have to worry about 16 year old boys

Spoken like a 16 year old.
I had a long chat with one of my daughters boyfriends, a guy she ended up marrying.
Its what dads do.

I don't disagree, but dad's don't wave guns at the boyfriend

Yep. A 16 year old is an irrational creature. Their good choices need a nudge once in a while.

Well buddy you are partially right. That was the law but it was amended during the last couple of years and did away woth the discharge portion.
