My 4yr old learned about Columbus in school today

He told me:
- he asked kings and queens for money to find gold and spices
- he went on the water to find gold and spices
- he did some good things and some bad things
Pretty impressed a teacher taught a 4 yr old that in one class and he remembered it.

Your 4 year old has a better grasp on history than 95% of the population

That’s pretty dang factual for main points.

You ought to be impressed. It's the kid more than the teacher.

For the record, anyone that associates Columbus with The Sopranos is damn alright in my book

Didn't even learn "In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue."

Well he’s got good genes

Seriously though the fact that he knew what Columbus was looking for and that he wasn’t all good or all bad is some pretty damn good instructing by a Pre-K teacher!

He apparently does what 90% of today’s students don’t do, pay attention.
