Yep, only care when you can try to push some agenda for yourself.

On a somewhat related slogan I go by is " A helping hand is better than a praying hand."

I had felt it quite therapeutic and rewarding to help those in need during the tornadoes around here and on the coast during Katrina.
I honestly would like to go down and help yall out if I didn't have to go to work.

Those women are not "going nuts," they are responding calmly, but clearly they are incredulous at why you'd expect people from BLM to suddenly show up in boats. It seriously doesn't make sense.

I understand that BLM is extremely unpopular here and that I'm going to get downvoted to hell, but this line of attack on BLM is ridiculous

I think it is less about expecting them to show up on boats and more why aren't they helping in SOME way. They can't try to raise money? Encourage members to help at shelters?

I have to half way agree with you given black peoples history with water, swimming, boats, life jackets and stuff BUT what is to stop them from raising money for black victims of the flood? Surely George Soros has the funds to erase all the suffering endured by black people from this flood. I mean the guy just bet a BILLION dollars against the US economy.
