Unfortunately, a lot of people on the rant take pleasure in doing these things. I don't get it either.

You can tell from this photo that this in no suspected gay lover's quarrel. If it was, every cop would have on latex gloves, and be wearing masks. Even the cops in the driveway. Police are phobic like that.

I know he had a special needs son, I assume he is what the custody battle was over.

Scott was a nice guy.

I know that Scott was a different kind of dude, and he wasn't for everyone.

But I'll tell you this. He was a nice guy. Damn nice guy. Any time you talked to him, he was happy to help you with whatever you need. Creative, fast thinker, enthusiastic about pretty much any dull, unoriginal crap people would bring to him and tell him to put on the air.

Horrible that he meets his end this way. Seriously. fricking terrible.

Disappointing to see so many tasteless comments in here.

Scott was good friends with a friends mom and he was extremely nice the few times I met him years ago. Interested to hear more details of how this went down.

He had his Around Town weekend morning show that was appearing on WAFB and had appeared previously on the cable systems. He's had shows and segments on different stations in town. Basically an entertainment and community service type of program.

He was extremely personable and upbeat in person, as he was on TV. Anybody that's been in a local play or holiday event or festival or charitable project has probably met him.
