the first study in the OP was funded by the Dwoskin family. A few notes on the Dwoskin family: - The Dwoskins are contributors to numerous Democratic political causes and campaigns, including those related to former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who have each personally attended fundraisers at the Dwoskin’s home in Virginia.

IKR! There is a reason that everyone in their 50s and 60s was vaccinated against these as a child! It's because our parents actually remember people who had these diseases and how bad the side effects could be. We got those vaccines as soon as possible.

That doesn't mean all vaccines are perfect, but a world without vaccines isn't a good place!

I can read cdc recommendations to you for free and you don't need insurance to come see me either.

Let me know the last time your doctor did a study on vaccines, probably plays too much golf to do that.

If this is true, which it probably is, it's not true by itself. It seems most people take most vaccines and don't have autism. If vaccines can cause autism, then it has to be in conjunction with something else, like certain genetics. Where is the study to figure out what is/are the associated causes?
To broadly say vaccines cause autism is false and does not help the cause of finding out the actual problem and causes of autism.

Thanks for actually reading the studies.

I quit reading after I saw the dates on the studies.

And yet, look all the vitriol that people have posted about old, retreaded info that is essentially meaningless now.

well cigarettes didnt cause cancer until they did.

this is how it starts

Routine childhood vaccination is an important public health tool to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with infectious diseases, but the present study provides new epidemiological evidence supporting an association between increasing organic-Hg exposure from Thimerosal-containing childhood vaccines and the subsequent risk of an ASD diagnosis.

I didn’t even know Mel Gibson had conducted multiple studies on the connection between vaccines and autism.

I'm not saying don't take vaccines - just be selective in the ones that you allow to be given. For example, whatever vaccines I was given as a kid in the 1970's, then those would be the ones I would want my kid to take (if I had a kid). No more , no less - just those that I was given as a child.

Those vaccines almost assuredly had thimerosal

So 1970 is the magic cutoff for medicine?

I'm perfectly fine with my children getting the MMR and hepatitis vaccines. I believe rotavirus and whooping cough are in this post-1970 category as well.

fricking retarded shite like this, written and spoken by absolute idiots, represents the worst of our society. You trust the experts and the scientific consensus in pretty much everything you do every day. You have to, because it is impossible to become an expert in everything.

Your anecdotal evidence combined with your 20 minutes of confirmation bias inspired internet research makes you feel like you know something. This is dangerous.

Roger Ailes once said, "People don't want to be informed, they want to feel informed." This represents a lot of you.
