Something like this will be the only way we pull out of this tailspin. Make it illegal to show their names and faces on any form of media, then blur their face and anything that identifies them while they face a firing squad on live TV. Or their hanging/electric chair/lethal injection aired on live TV.
We have to stop giving these people momentary fame and attention, when that's a primary driver of mass shootings and killings. 99.9% of these people are losers who were outcasts and incels, the fame and potential to push their beliefs while making their name go down in infamy is primarily all they want.
Mix in a healthy dose of not respecting the sanctity, beauty, and miracle of human life, and you have this epidemic of shitheads shooting up innocent crowds. This country is spiraling down the drain quickly, and it's a total lack of morality and respect leading the charge.
It's only gonna get worse, I'm afraid.

Or, just throwing in an alternate path, we could actually come together and start making attempts to address Mental Health in this country instead of always trying to avoid the issue and pretending that it's not the problem, or that we even have a problem.
Most people in this country are too embarrassed about mental health.

As long as we are honest about the problem, I'm all for it. None of this stacking bodies in the hood every weekend and ignoring it only to have the country grieve when that violence clashes with civilized society.

Is this honest about 'the' problem though? Honestly, I think we have more than one problem.

The problem, as I see it is that we tell boys from their earliest age that they’re worthless, that they should be ashamed for being a male and that they’re the reason for the world’s ills. Especially white boys. Can you imagine living your entire life hearing those things?
Furthermore, there is a massive gap in strong men in this society that hold people to account. Strong fathers and strong male presence in schools. Children are no longer disciplined and no longer know that there are real world consequences for their actions.
Lastly, there is a lack of God in homes and society as well. We’ve become so lax in our morals, in our standards, in our boundaries, that I’m afraid we have become the modern day sodom and Gomorrah. Like or not, this nation and this society was founded as a Christian society. Christian norms and Christian mores were for the most part the guiding light in this nation. The further we turn from the Lord, the worse it will get. This moral relativism we’ve adopted now is a cancer on this society.

Who knows? Maybe the people that say avoid black neighborhoods when it comes to gun violence can weigh in? Evidently whites just shoot random people, however, African Americans have the best aim firing off a gun while holding it sideways because those rounds always find the intended target.

Can you imagine living your entire life believing that this is being taught?
The "problem" you see happening is not as big or widespread as you think it is.

Who's to blame for that? It's not teachers who aren't willing to discipline kids, it's the parents who refuse to allow it. Generation X are the main culprits of this shite.

There's a lack of God in Buddhist societies, yet they seem to be doing better than us in this area.

They need to let teenage males fight. Bring back boxing in HS, do it in gym class, if some kids are about to fight, bring them to the ring and let them get it out of their system.
I guarantee you if you allow this they will turn out to be better people.

I don’t disagree here. Males need to fight with each other from time to time. I do believe this whole 0 tolerance for fighting in all levels of this society aren’t necessarily a good thing. People used to not get all bent out of shape over fighting. Now, they freak the frick out over one little fight and the belligerents immediately get arrested and thrown in jail with real life charges levied against em.

There was another active shooter in Philly at a fireworks show about a half hour ago. Two police officers shot. Shooting has stopped, but a manhunt is underway.

Another shooter earlier in Fort Worth. Killed 2 people and wounded 3 officers before offing himself.
