Looks like one car isn't even in the street anymore, so might have been a car wreck that ended up hitting people on the sidewalk.

I was at that intersection yesterday cuz I had to go to he vet school for the pup and they had a cop stationed there to help people cross so I’d venture to think it wasn’t just distracted kids stepping out into traffic

Sadly, there's a good chance that the driver AND the pedestrians were all on their respective phones. I sometimes count/pay attention to how many people around me while driving are on their phones. It's crazy.

I don’t just walk out into a crosswalk bc “I’m walking and I have that right and you have to stop bc ha!” I stop and make sure the cars see me and are stopping to let me cross before I walk.
Guess how many times I’ve been hit by a car in a crosswalk? Big ole zero.
