Nicholson is a major thoroughfare and that intersection has a lot of pedestrians crossing over from parking lots on the other side. Seems like a very reasonable solution for that particular spot.

find it hard to believe 4 people who were prob total strangers were all at fault of getting hit

Did they make eye contact with the driver to see if the driver saw them? Did they see if the driver was slowing down to let them cross?
Or did they just say frick it while playing on their cellphone and then start walking across the street without looking bc I’m walking and have the right of way?
The driver can be at fault and it still have been avoidable if the walkers were paying attention.

No one is arguing that this could not have been avoided. We’re saying that only a moronic a-hole would A) assume that the only way his could have happened is because every was distracted and B) would throw up a ROTFLMAO with people bleeding on the ground, regardless of how it happened.

Amen, amen, amen. You've got all of those apartments, grocery store, etc. across the street now too. Put one crossing at North Stadium too.

I was behind a bright gold FJ Cruiser on my way to work yesterday, driving down Acadian towards Government. The person drives their entire left side up on the median, and then corrects, gets back down, and keeps going. Two minutes later, they do it again. Then they speed up to like 60 when they realize they need to take a right on Government.
It's some bro in a backwards cap texting violently. Like the dude must have been fighting with his woman or something. Sits in the right turn lane with people behind him, while no cars are coming and he could go, so he can text.

The design is such that pedestrians cross while the N. Stadium traffic has the green light. It appears to be working so far
