I see the Left make varying versions of this comment over and over about Trump.
Maybe he doesn't care for those people, but at least he can be bothered to show up and look like he gives a shite. At the very least, it brings awareness to the tragedy.
I'd rather that vs some of the things the current administration seems to be focusing on.

What’s the best strategy for having plenty of water in a situation like this?
Keeping jugs?
Keeping propane and a boiler to boil water?
Some sort of filter meant for campers?

Trump is doing nothing but trying to score political points. He cares nothing about the people of Appalachia and he is just using up resources that could be used elsewhere.
He started a go fund me that has raised over $3.5 million dollars at the moment. Not bad for a public figure who's a private citizen at the moment. What individual has done more?

I'm saying it is a lot better than what many will ever admit and that there are people actively ignoring ongoing efforts. That cannot be denied, and I'm not interested in arguing over it.

Water well and a generator. I run the old water wells every so often to keep them from sanding up even though parish water is now available.
Other than that, in the city...you're fricked. Maybe a filtration kit will help you.

I mean I can walk to ponds lakes, and creeks from my neighborhood.
And in the current NC situation water isn’t in short supply. Just wondering what is the best strategy for being prepared to fix the water.

Having a way to boil it. There isn't much you can do when water treatment plants have been destroyed, mains eroded/washed away, and water has been disrupted by damaged homes.

You can buy any capacity water filtration system you want these days.

The evidence suggests that the right wing propagandists are lying.

Honestly, I think a lot of it is just people parroting what they hear others say.
