I know he was. “ Rock With you” is a great album. Be with MTV he went from superstar yo a galaxy all his own. Billie Jean, beat it, thriller we’re must see videos. And the hype for “Bad” was through the roof.

Didn't know they still had MTV News. Guessing nowadays it was probably super liberal and mostly news about people I've never heard of.

MTV was done once it started that whiny Real World shite.
Actually it was probably done before that.
I'd say it was over in reality by 1990.

MTV is so odd. How does a network called Music Television just completely abandon anything to do with music and just play Ridiculousness reruns all day and night?

She married a Louisiana baw.

Sort of. She married Micheal Lewis, who is a great author. They live in Berkeley now. They lost one of their kids in a car accident last year.

The bass line from Megadeth’s “Peace Sells” was used as the MTV News theme for ages, but the band says they were never asked permission or payed a dime for its use.

My saddest MTV News moment was learning that bassist Jason Newsted was leaving Metallica, way back in March 2001.

Good. Maybe they'll fill the time with music videos.

Daisy Fuentes and Kennedy are still bangable. I would argue she looks better now than in the 80's.

Internet killed the music video star.

I remember arguing with my kids about how much they watched MTV.

How much worse are things now?
