Eh. This one was likely pretty "easy".
- Mrs. Sadie's whereabouts/schedule were known.
- She was a respected member of the community...meaning those with information were sharing.
- The killer does not appear to be involved in gang activity...meaning he doesn't have people willing to silence those sharing information.
- The killer has a long history with the police and his DNA, prints, etc. are in the system. It's likely that he left some evidence behind in Mrs. Sadie's vehicle.

Had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Sadie a few weeks back. I didn’t realize who she was at the time but when I saw her picture on the first page it made my heart skip a beat. Though my encounter was brief, it was easy to tell she was a wonderful woman and it’s sickening to see someone who was so undeserving of such violence exit the world in that way. RIP and I will keep her and her family in my prayers.

Regarding the hate crime comment: I’m sure that was included because there were internet rumors stating that it could possibly be a hate crime. During the press conference, the comment was made before the name & picture were revealed.
