Can't wait for the youtube upload of you confronting them head-on from your TT with windows rolled down ever so slightly. Man, I hope they don't key it.

The delivery truck and moving company are 2 different people

Moving company I talked to is in Washington

Delivery Truck keeps calling from a New Jersey area code

I am sure they are just contracted

Everyone deals with issues like this. Most people just nut up and handle it without seeking the advice of random internet people.

you don't say where the move took place. Here is a complaint form for a move within Louisiana
Louisiana Public Service commission
If it was interstate then there is information in the complaint form for filling a complaint with the Feds. If it is in another state then check the state PSC/PUC for help.

Would such a thing be in the contract.
You didn't read it before you obligated yourself to whatever the terms were?

I would be interested how your stuff was transported. Was it transloaded/shipped out in pieces or was it a full truck load? Straight truck or loaded on a detachable trailer?

They just called me and I told them the story.

Had to use 5 vacation hours on the pickup

Had to use 3 vacation hours today

Potentially 3-4 tomorrow

That's 11 hours of pay I missed out on

They took note of everything and said they will call me back

If they call back and say they've decided to sell your stuff to make enough money to reimburse you for all of the work you missed, that would be the best ending to this story.

My moving company said it would be 4-14 business days from the day they picked up my stuff
4 to 14 days..that a over/under of 10 days Who is your moving company the United States Postal Service?

Any decent mover would have it down to 1 day window with out an emergency situation (Note - Full truck load dedicated)

if it's anything with something like, some brothers, firemen, a couple of dudes and a truck, in the name of the company, you're screwed

Last time I moved long distance, I hired people to help me load a 26' Penske Truck. Then hired people to help me unload it at the new place.

Much cheaper than United or Mayflower and my furniture arrives when I do.
