that's pretty much the best way, unless you go "standby" on one of the big companies that can piggyback your stuff on a truck(s) that have a little extra room on it

Moving company said they could move my piano and their website cited all of their experience. They couldn't do it when the day came. I had to pay a separate company fo move the piano. All My Son's Moving company in Baton Rouge sucks!

Simple question, do you want all of your furniture and mattress getting soaked in the rain? There's a reason you don't start unloading a truck if it's about to possibly storm
