Whatever gets her through the night. How is it any of our business? She'll have to answer one day for her actions. Meanwhile, she's grieving and people commit stupid acts when they grieve.

Any money you gives these people goes right back into ither people's hands. If there was one argument for welfare it is that we don't give it to people who don't deserve it because it ultimately goes to business owners or back into the government via lottery ticket purchase.

People are stupid for donating to a family that has gang ties IMO. What did they think would happen to that money? You are donating money to the scum of the earth and are going to be upset when that scum doesn't do the right thing?
Someone correct me if I am wrong because I have only read bits and pieces of this story so maybe I am way off base here.
ETA: I just saw her son was killed 6 days ago. I think shopping for a new car would be the last thing on most parents minds right now.
