I got Scotty Thurman's autograph on the SI spread when he hit that big 3 in the championships.

He came to the high school to shoot jumpers. He missed a lot

Marshall Thundering Herd hat signed by Byron Leftwich. Got to see him beat Louisville playing with basically 1 leg in the GMAC Bowl.

That was actually pretty freaking awesome. That 1 minute drive to win the game where he couldn’t even walk. He would drop back, limping, throw a 20 yard completion, and his linemen would carry him to the line of scrimmage, and he would do it again. Awesome. I’ve always had mad respect for him after watching that.

Most of the autographs I've gotten are pretty useless:
- Aaron Tippin
- Blake Dean
- Les Miles
- Ernie Sims (FSU/Lions)
- AJ Nicholson (FSU/Bengals)

I did get Roy Jones Jr.'s autograph on a plane ticket

I collected autographs for years, I still kind of do, but I probably have some that are worth next to nothing. In terms of most useless, I have a signed CJ Spiller Saints mini helmet. I was pretty excited to add that to my collection, and he really did nothing for the Saints.

Some washed up Senior PGA player gave my son, then a small child, an autographed golf ball.
Never had heard of the guy, although I was quite knowledgeable of most all senior PGA golfers at the time.

I once won a display contest while working in a music store in the 90's where the prize was an autographed Hootie & The Blowfish poster. The label took forever to send it and when I got in touch with them they said they didn't have any more so they'd send me money.

I told them I'd wait for them to get the autographs...

So, not only did I not get $300 or whatever it was they were offering in exchange, but I almost certainly got some a-hole's signatures in the label office who scribbled on the poster and sent it to me. This did not dawn on me until later, which is sad in and of itself.

Also had an autographed Dan Quayle photo someone gave me in college.

Probably my 4th grade yearbook, signed by all of my classmates. We all had the potential to be famous, but we were all busts.

Presidential autographs hold up pretty well in value, doesn't matter which President. There's a pretty good market for them.

grew up down the street from the Bradshaws, my folks and theirs were friends long before they had kids, I was over at their house a few years back and Ms. Novis was commenting about needing to ship something off that Terry had autographed, I joked to her that I'd bet she could sign Terry's signature as good as he could and she turned red as a beet

Years ago, I caddied a round on the Nationwide Tour or whatever the PGA minor league was called at the time. I got autographed golf balls from the player I caddied for along with the other three players in the group. I couldn't tell you their names or if they ever amounted to anything in the golf world. Probably sell insurance now.

Never had one. I kind of loathe that stuff.
