Literally because they make it hot for the sake of being hot...

Hattie B's is flavorful heat. Princes main goal is to make you shite yourself before you leave.

Their mild lights you up, the hot in inedible and only eaten by the fake badasses trying to prove a point or look cool.

Is that still open? I can't eat there anymore. Can't get past the moldy ceiling tiles and smelly dank carpet.

The Chimes - great place to grab a beer or two, but the food is pretty average (except the BBQ Shrimp poboy)

I don't know anyone who thinks Mi Cocina is anything other than passable chain Mexican food (see also Chuy's and Uncle Julio's). Now I actually do enjoy Taco Diner (same ownership group as Mi Cocina).

Mild is perfect and exactly what HOT chicken is supposed to be. Anything hotter is too hot. And their chicken is so much better.

Hattie Bs is really not that good. It’s become a tourist trap. It’s a check box on a list with pancake pantry and biscuit love for bachelorette parties.

In Bradenton, FL - I'd say the most over-rated eating places are the big name chain restaurants - like Appleby's, Longhorn, Bonefish, Outback, Chili's, Olive Garden, PF Chang, Red Lobster, Golden Corral, etc.

These overpriced purveyors of bland and often unhealthy meals are no better or worse than the same chains in your neck of the woods, but for a lot of the Midwestern elderly/retired snowbird population, these are high cuisine destination eating places.

Ironic, given there are quite a few very good locally owned and operated places here to dine.

No, my palate is just a step above Sysco prepackaged bullshite reheated food. That doesn’t constitute me as. Hipster. Just someone who likes food that is actually cooked in house.

Did you know... there are actually growing seasons for food?

So impressive I suppose if you were raised on fast food and microwave epicurean delicacies.

New Orleans - Drago's, talking strictly food, not oysters.

Vacation - Lulu's, and we're parrot heads, haha!

Local - Pat's in Henderson is a total tourist trap now, mediocre food with small portions and waaaay over priced.
